SZES Batty For Books Winner

Congratulations to Danielle Woodson. Danielle is the SZES winner of the Family Engagement Batty for Books Literacy Event

The BCS Family Engagement Specialists and the BCS Book Bus took part in the Statesboro-Bulloch County Recreation Department's Drive-thru Trick or Treat event on October 31st. During this event, they gave away over 1,000 Batty for Books literacy packets that included books, literacy tips, family literacy activities, literacy tips and a sweet treat. Families that responded to the survey (which was included in their literacy packet) were entered into a drawing and a winner from each school was selected. Pictured above is the SZES Family Engagement Specialist Sherry Jordan presenting SZES Winner Danielle Woodson with her (backpack filled with several new books and school supplies).
